I’m Lucinda: I come from Scotland, live in Melbourne and have worked in design and advertising for 15 years. I enjoy design, but picture book illustration is my passion. For many years, I’ve harboured a desire to create picture books – not just to make cute self-published ones for my kids, but to make a decent living out of being a picture book writer and illustrator.
However, work, family, friends, and tidying up after two lively pre-schoolers makes it hard to find the time and motivation to pursue my dream. This blog, then, is creative discipline for myself and, ideally, an inspiring point of reference for you, the reader.
